I was curious to see what, if any, solutions for aging arms were on the web. My most recent Flattering50 Giveaway asked readers to answer the questions, "Are You Alarmed About Your Arms?" While the degree of "alarm" seemed to vary, most readers were conscious of the aging process's effect on their limbs. So I thought I'd write a quick post with a few available arm "treatments" and workout options. I have absolutely no idea if any of this works. Chances are the potions are as effective as the many anti-aging facial products. However, I like the fact that one site has a remedy you can mix up yourself at home and another has a few exercises that don't require a gym membership or a whole lot of time. For what they're worth, read on...
ARM REMEDIES
- In Homemade Beauty Treatments for Arms, the author offers several recipes for do-it-yourself aging arm remedies. I'm not sure where you get oils like Cypress oil and Juniper oil, but I'd start at the health food store. Or probably online.
- At the time of posting, Amazon.com had one tube of Perlier Melograno Lift-Express Beauty Cream for Arms Set. I also found it on the Home Shopping Network, but it was sold out. I've given you the HSN link, though, because it was rated 3.9 out of 4 stars. If you're interested, I bet you'll be able to find this product elsewhere.
ARM BUILDING
- I like the video clips at Pilates: How to Tone Your Arms. These at-home exercises seem easily and not terribly time-consuming.
- For First Lady fans, there's the How to Get Michelle Obama's Arms: The Workout Plan.
COVERING ALL YOUR BASES
- In Help for Upper Arm Wrinkles, the author gives a list of possible solutions, from lotions to yoga to laser therapy.
